Architecture, planning, ecology & human wellbeing — brought together through research-driven design.
My quest is to rediscover how built environments can support healthier relationships between people, nature, and other living systems. Through exploratory research, ecological observation, and design thinking, I collaborate with AEC professionals to bring a biocentric layer into projects—creating places that are not only functional, but also more alive, responsive, and connected to their context.

Our Philosophy
We believe we were never separate from nature. Tamil culture has long understood life as an interconnected whole.
“பகுத்துண்டு பல்லுயிர் ஓம்புதல்”
— Paguthundu Palluyir Ombuga: Share what we have and care for all living beings.
“யாதும் ஊரே யாவரும் கேளிர்”
— Yaadhum Oore, Yavarum Kelir: Every place is our place; every being is part of our larger belonging.
The Thinai tradition understood this relationship through five landscapes — Kurinji, Mullai, Marutham, Neithal and Palai — each shaped by its own land, water, climate, plants, animals, people, livelihoods, seasons and rhythms of time.
Mountains with elephants and forests, Pastures with cattle and deer, River plains with fields and water birds, Coasts with fish and seabirds, Dry landscapes adapting to heat and scarcity.
People lived within these living systems, not apart from them.
At Ellone, we carry this worldview into contemporary architecture. We see the built environment as part of a larger living system — one that must support human wellbeing, biodiversity and multispecies coexistence. We therefore design not only for people, but with life.
Reading the land.
Respecting every life.
Designing for coexistence.

About Ellone
Ellone is a biocentric built-environment practice shaping healthier relationships between people, nature and other living systems.
We combine architecture, ecology, biodiversity, human wellbeing and systems thinking to develop strategies and design solutions that enable built environments to support life—across buildings, sites, neighbourhoods and urban landscapes.
We create built environments that work better for life. Through a biocentric approach, we understand ecological and human needs, identify systemic gaps, and transform them into practical design and implementation strategies. Our work creates value by improving human wellbeing, ecological health, biodiversity, resource efficiency and long-term resilience—while strengthening the relationship between people, place and systems.
